He should countersue for the goverment infringing on his right of freedom of speach. He'd lose naturally, but he might spark a debate as he's hauled off to prison to share a cell with Roofus the Murderous Gimp.

He could be a martyr for the Cause, an example to every non-nazi American.

The sooner we find the cure to yank stupidity the better.
Thing is, would there be anything yet of a yank if cured?

But seriously, he should fight this all the way. The moment people are being arrested for something they're write is the moment you have to stop and wonder if you still live in a free country.

Fucking awful.

a country is defined by it's borders - this allready contradicts freedom.

Most intelligent people know that it's not, so i reckon about 80% of Americans are still convinced the US is a free country.

This boy could kick up a storm, because the charges are so mindnumbingly stupid that even a complete jackass would feel the injustice.

if you're inside a society that treats you the way described in such cases, chances are that this is a general feeling, shared by at least a minority; and since parts of the society thinks this way, chances are that these things are not looked at as beeing totally off bounds.

Shit, if it's a general feeling he should apply for political asylum in Canada.

This is going to be a fun court battle to hear about. I can't wait until the Federal Courts hand those Kentucky rednecks a big binder of STFU.

PS: Those of you who love to criticise everything that happens in America...Please remember that we do have 50 seperate states that are (for the most part) run by their own small governments. Just because something retarded happens in a small town I have never heard of doesn't mean that all over the US kids are not allowed to write about zombies.

Still Bit, in Europe theres a dozen different nations, all run by their own goverments - but if something like this would happen (which is impossible) i garuantee outrage would be the general consensus.

But it does mean that this mind-numbing paranoia about "terrr" is spreading all across the country, and is more and more frequently being used to justify the most ridiculous injustices, which we never would have been able to accept before 3 years ago.

ive always felt that that really contradicts the term "United States of America"

they should just call it "States of America" :icon14:

"It didn't mention nobody who lives in Clark County, didn't mention (George Rogers Clark High School), didn't mention no principal or cops, nothing,"
said Poole. "Half the people at high school know me. They know I'm not that stupid, that crazy."
The bigger crime is that this kid is 18 years old, a junior (usually 16 years old) in high school, and this is his quote.
