It sucks. It's too touch and go and you never know what you're going to get. It can do nothing at all or make you completely wig out for about 10-15 minutes.
I've done it a number of times and have never been happy with myself afterwards.

Its interesting. Its much more intense than acid for a shorter high, but needs to be exposed to extremely high heat in order to properly activate the salvinorin-A. A butane lighter or two normal lighters is usually enough. When it does hit, it will literally floor you for about 2-10 minutes. Make sure there are no sounds or distractions in order to get the most out of it (distractions end it faster and are annoying).

Keep in mind that the salvia I'm referring to has been concentrated to about 10x the natural amount. While on it, some friends and I have all found that self awareness is pretty much lost. Time pretty much ceases to exist as well. The effects might only last a few minutes, but it can literally feel like years.

You can do it with a regular run of the mill bic lighter as long as you're smoking it in a pipe of some sort prefferably glass, get the 10x potency stuff it's worth it. I got a high that lasted roughly 10-15 minutes, but as long as you keep smoking it when it begins to wear off you'll stay high although it's expensive as hell. I dunno about the years crap torm is talking about.

There is like an afterhigh that lasts for hours later though, kindof a warm fuzzy happy sensation which is kinda cool. Didn't feel it my first time though.

If you're out, the passage of time can seem irrelevant and the high can seem to be much longer than it actually is. Its similar to how you can have long and incredibly complex dreams in minutes.

In my experience one Bic lighter, even in a pipe, won't give you near the same effects as an increase in the heat will.

Just to clarify here, have you tried it using a butane lighter?
If not you aren't really in a position to compare, though I am interested to hear that you got anything at all from it, as I wasn't aware taht you could.

I did have some of the oral extract but it was a lot of hassle for only a mild effect. You have to hold it under your tongue for several minutes (it's only absorbed sublingually) and it stings. I had what the label said would be a medium to strong dose and all I got was a brief gigglyness and some mild visual vibrations.
