I just had another few goes. I managed to stay alive for about 3 or 4 minutes, threw everything I had at him while dodging, and still he didn't go down. Is this the final boss and what's this guy called?
Not a hell knight right? Those were the previous baddies weren't they?

Ah, it's 'destroy the seekers and the guardian will become vulnerable' . I saw a blue light earlier when
I killed a few seekers. I think I have to shoot
at that light when I see it.

That there is the Guardian. Quite an easy boss IMO.

Now, you need to shoot rockets at the Seekers. Once 1 remains, reload your Rocket Launcher and shoot the remaining one down, then proceed in launching 4 rockets into the blue sphere appearing over the Guardian's head. 3 rounds should do it. Pick up the Soul Cube and enter Delta Labs 5.

I can't wait until you get to the Cyberdemon

Aha, the deed is done! Actually, I was shooting plasma at those seekers with no luck. Once I started shooting rockets at them instead as they hovered in a group around the guardian, plus shooting into the blue light, it was easy. Easier than I thought. Didn't count how many rockets, I just kept shootin!

Back in delta complex and picking up weapons again. You know, as good as hell was, I find the labs more scary.

The second Hell Hunter in the Resurrection of Evil was giving me quite a bit of grief. But I managed to beat both games on Veteran without cheats or strategy guides :icon26:

Only had a couple of trys so far, and I have a feeling he's gonna make me use up every BFG cell and rocket I have.

I found a neat little secret/easter egg opposite the cyberdemon wall, the id software brick which revealed a disc of emails from the staff thanking everyone for the making and playing of doom3. I guess everyone else found it right?

Yah, I kind of reckoned on the cube as I haven't
used it as yet. I think it's gonna be tricky
though just avoiding him while I do what
