Battlestar Galactica is the best sci-fi series in years, no doubt about it.
Could name a million reasons why, but my babbling wouldn't compare to watching the show for yourself
Finished the season this past weekend thanks to Sky One and the internet, can't wait for new episodes this summer!
This is convenient, BTW. I saw the BSG movie but somehow I missed the first episode, so some of the things that were confusing me are being cleared up.
Starbuck cannot be a female. Cannot I say. He's a womanizer. Make this chick a lesbian then I'm down.
I was a big fan of the original series and while the new series is very pretty and makes a lot more sense, I can't get through Starbuck and Boomer being chicks. It's just not right.

:icon13:
Was the president a dude in the original series, too? That leaves approximately 1 whole woman on the original cast. I think it was a good move to add women to the cast (though I can't argue over whether or not Starbuck should be a chick, since I never saw the original series to compare).

I think the president was a guy, but then you had the one launch corridinator that was Adama's daughter, and Starbuck's girl, Cassiopia, so there'd be two chicks. They had another female deck control person too, can't remember her name off the top of my head.
