[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Those magazine scans are from the 3/2006 issue, so those are pretty new.

Looks pretty damn great to me. Expected to be released Q4 2006.

Hummm, i dont know if i am the only one that notices this.... but dosent it look like Farcry? litterly, i dont see much change other then a higher polly count..

the same island, same textures, and i am guessing a simular story line.

Looks amazing. The long huge open terrain shots with full dynamic day/night cycle and amazing looking clouds own.

I cant wait for some game to be released that reads your clock, and sets thesingle player game time the same and changes it in real time :p

Theway they are going with this new engine is the way id software are supposed to be going with the next Wolf. A full made, real game world with on the fly loading of parts. I can handle that. I mean in "real life", how many fucking islands do you NEED to go through? I know it was like 17 in FarCry, but still...

What, in the same way Sin 2 looks like Half Life 2? Or the same way Quake 4 looks like Doom 3? Or maybe the way Unreal Tourney looks like Pariah?

You can change the name, you cant change the engine. No matter how many revisions it goes through.

Looks really nice, the fire I thought was a bit below par with everything else, but it does look damn fine.

and you should know, change the textures on the same engine and it looks diffrent but feels the same.

Engine does not dictate art direction.

But theres no need to slam a game because it "LOOKS" like another. Like I said, Unreal Tourny and Pariah look the same and feel the same, but we all know how 100% tripe Pariah was and how 100% gold Unreal Tourny was.

So this new game looks like FarCry. So it may FEEL like FarCry. THATS A GOOD THING. FarCry fucking OWNED so I say bring it on.

You can always wait until id softwares next engine comes out with its "one-new-feature-that-isn't-really-a-feature" feature, you know, like this time, ultra realistic breathing noises or some shit. But bet your ass its still an average indoor sci-fi first person shooter with a shotgun and a rocket launcher and fuck all of a plot ;)
