remove all but crosshair

how do i remove the health, armor, and all that stuff ...the whole hud. everything except the crosshair......?

Almost certainly impossible in the default game as thats all 2d stuff. I dont even know if you can toggle the 2d images like you can in Q3...

It doesn't hurt to do some searching. g_showhud 0 does the trick, but removes the crosshair as well, which you don't want (it's good for screenshots though). Perhaps there's another way to have a crosshair only like in Q3 but i don't know it.

Yeah if you think about it its part of the hud, doesnt surprise me at all that its not isolated. Hell, try and turn down the textures on the game, let me know what you think of the hud then...

by removing the hud when playing the demo?
