Yea as far as the story and the monotheism, Islam is probably more believeable than christianity due to the fact that it doesn't require belief in a magic man walking around on earth, turning water into wine, healing people and rising from the dead.

I think you're mistaken. When christian fundamentalist do something whacky, enough people here are taking the piss out of it. Additionally, no matter what kind of stupid things christians do these days, they don't go shouting death threats and burning flags. While they're equally stupid in their reasoning, it's a pretty safe bet to say that Christians, in general, go over this a lot more civilized.

It's actually funny that you mention their oppression, because both jews and muslims go by this "eye for an eye" kind of mantra. That's exactly why things have always been shitty in the Middle East.
