I just bought 2gb dual ddr pc3200 ocz, installed and recgognized just fine.

However, bow when i'm playing anygame, it'll kick me to desktop or windows will pull an error or my computer will reset on its own.

I never had this problem before with my single stick of 512 pc3000

Specs:

431W PSU
AMD XP 3200+
A7N8X-E
2gb pc3200 dual ddr 3-3-3-8
Geforce 6800 GS 256mb AGP w/ dx 9.0c
80gb 7200rpm 8mb cache hdd
winxp pro sp2

could it be that my psu doesn't have the power to support my system anymore?

hmm, i think it might be a mobo problem, pc runs perfect when i clock the mem back from 200 to 166.

give the ram some extra V's and set the ram speeds/latency manually.

did you have the 6800 running fine before or did you upgrade ram/vid at the same time?

possibly the psu. brand name or generic? could try giving the psu a good cleaning.

the 3200+ is 400mhz

The 6800 was running perfect, i upgraded the video card, then the ram.

PSU is an Enermax 431W, however, my voltages are fine:

VCore=1.70
3.3V=3.36
5V=5.00
12V=11.80

that psu should be ok. but i had to upgrade from a 365w enermax to a 460w enermax when i built an a64 system. i was getting the same type of shit you are.

what about bios version? could be your mobo just doesn't like ocz.

That's what i'm thinking, i posted this on the asus troubleshooting board and waiting for a reply.

The ocz website says the rev. 1.04 board has problems with their memory, but mine is rev. 2.00
