Sry, huge screenshot:

Start with "devmap cqroom" - though this map isn't meant for playing.

I slapped this together in like 2 hours, so please excuse the crappy mapping, lighting, scale and the unecessary large textures.

So, I need help with the layout. I think the current one isn't that perfect.

Things to consider:
- nobody likes to sit with his back to the door (though I could life with that)
- north is on the positive Y, meaning there's a lot of light comming from the west through the dormer. having the desk with the pc directly under the dormer would suck ... I guess.
- beeing able to see the TV from the desk would be nice.
- there are some more small cabinets and shelfs (not in the .map), but these will fit anywhere, after the main furniture has been placed.

If you've got some time - you've got the .map :)

Okay, I'm confused.

What the heck is this for? What's the point? What are the limitations? Is this a design that's going to be used for planning/building something real-world?

If I were going to work on this for general masturbatory purposes, I'd start by knocking out a wall and adding a walk-in beer fridge, an indoor pool with overhanging climbing wall, and a fireman's pole down to the heated garage full of sports cars.
I beat the internet; the end guy is hard.

Yep. I'm moving to this room next weekend.

Great idea! However, I'm afraid my budget won't suffice
