Been using a mach3 turbo for years, tried the shick quattro, but didn't like it, but this thing is smooth as silk.
Off to the store..

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

To be honest I think it's a bunch of crap, obsolete technology and dull blades. I gave it a try before after reading a similar article or maybe even the same one can't recall. Took my time and did pretty much everything, thinking that I got a better shave. A few days down the road, my gf mentions my face feels kind of rough. Definitely not as close as with a modern razor, you might want to reexamine your results. I talked to my father about it and he agrees that it's worse then modern shaving, and the man has been shaving since the 60s. I think the only effective thing is not shaving against the grain (razor burn) and taking a shower or washing your face with some hot water before shaving.[xeno]Julios wrote:ain't the same shit.ToxicBug wrote:I use shaving cream that comes in compressed can form

I use both, electric first to get the shit down to size, then I use this new 5 blade job in the shower. If I don't use the electric first it seems to be rather unconfortable pulling and shit, plus it takes longer.teriba wrote:I'm an electric kind of guy. Ok..
Bought one, used it..
Most comfy? no.. Close ass shave? yes..
All in all, no real nicking, no bleeding, but not as comfy as my mach 3 turbo uber vibrating thing... much closer tho..
Got the "power" version of this one too.. all in all.. worth 10 bucks..

I don't really care about the 5 blades, but I might pick this up just for the extra trimmer.
I hate how the blades on razors don't run to the end of the cartridge. It's always a guessing game trying to shave around facial hair - just keep going closer and closer until you finally get up next to it, and even then most of the time I wind up missing some extra scruff around the edges.

Re: The ultimate shave...
I have also been using the Mach3 Turbo, and one thing I've noticed, and I'm not sure if this applies to all razor's, is that once you've shaved with the blade once, its never the same afterward.tnf wrote:I'm a fanatic about a good shave and was quite pleased with this:
