I'm seriously considering giving in and buying another copy of XP
haven't used it but ubuntu, afaik is basically debian with a candy shell. Looks like you were compiling it, when you might have better luck going for an apt-get install chkrootkit
as root.

i do agree, it was a long time comming... but its atleast accepted... to a point :)
