Can you sleep with lights and music?

Post by PeteRoy »

I was at my friend house and I saw his brother sleeping there with lights and music and I find it strange it didn't wake him up.

I can fall asleep with music, even the neighbours music, but lights are a no-no.

aye. i have more trouble with light than music though, especially small bright lights (like green alarmclock displays and light seeping through the curtains).

i filter out most sounds, especially the ones with rythem and/or continious volume - washing machines, traffic, alarmclock beeps.

i once fell asleep *inside* a bassspeaker during a concert :dork:

I have no problem with light. Music though - it's ok if it's my own, but no fucking way if the neighbour is having a party and is playing shitty music.

I can't sleep with music and/or lights on. My housemate can sleep to death metal though :paranoid:

Without a problem, but prefer darkness and quiet though. Sometimes I feel like turning off my PC and just sleep in total darkness and quiet. Sometimes my ears pop when the PC becomes quiet. Maybe that's a sign for me to stay away more.

As long as you're tired enough... If you're a light sleeper you'll have more trouble i reckon. I've fallen asleep with the light more often than i'd like to admit and with the tv on too a couple of times, but both were 'dimmed' though.

I can sleep with either. I tend to stick the radio on so it's on when I wake up

No lights, no music. If I'm exhausted, I'll fall asleep anyway but I'm usually trying to deal with insomnia so I prefer it to be quiet.
