in HL2 that would require a phys_lengthconstraint

or possibily a phys_ballsocket

edit: or in cheapalert's case, func_detail

Custom textures?

[EDIT]I just noticed, there aren't any light sources in those shots.. is that intentional (beta?)

Ah, because of some sircumstances I wasn't able to do proper lighting before Fragarcade competition end, but I will ;).
This map version is contest final, but I'm sure there will be another one.
And yes, custom textures. Mossrock set made for D3 by Alexander Pesch - http://www.graphysix.de.

The first two are very nice, but doesn't hit the spot like the bottom right corner does for me.

Jesus, during register I found out that my (old and original) Nickname was given?!
hehe....didn't know that I'm so popular. :icon31:
Well, welcome MopAn whoever you are. ;)
Btw, is there any way to get back number of posts? (And the original Nick?)

Just wanted to say that our team and me are still alive and we are still mapping for passion. And this is for good old Q3-Engine (extremly modified by Raute, our coder).
This is my little map for this wonderful and hopefully neverending cause fantastic project.

Hope you like it. It will be a full for-free-game-version based on open-source-q3-engine. We have a lot of new effects (in relation to old vq3-engine) like this beautiful sun-flare and custom-stepsounds and other funny things.
@Ente: Ein wenig publicity schade nie. Oh, das reimt sich...*gg*

@seremtam: Thanx. K, I will try this. Don't know if I remember my old e-mail-addy but there are only 2 possibilities left...
@Foo: hehe...Mars MopAn. I like this. One thing left of a time I sat home and mapped all days. These days a bit of this came back. I think mapping is a bit like swimming, u never forget. For the Mars-Map I even get an offer for a job as a level-designer. I had to decline cause payment was horrible. I had to survive with less than 500$/month and without hope for further employment after 3 months of testing.
Well, I think this is the way artists have to live sometimes. But, as artists do, we do a great job (without payment) at our actual project.
And who knows what happens in the future. ;)

Don't take a underpayed level design job, you would regret it badly.
