There is just one clinic in SD that does them apparently, and women who need one to save their own life can still have them.
I need to brush up on my study of the constitution and state's rights and whatnot. What's the potential for this to be overturned by the federal government?

The CNN article makes it pretty clear...for once.
South Dakota's abortion ban is to take effect July 1, but a federal judge is likely to suspend it during a legal challenge.
So while it works its way through the system, current SD law is effect.
