iPod Issues

Well my iPod, 4th generation, keeps deleting songs off of it. The song titles are still there and while going through shuffle they will show up and then quickly move to the next song, also if I go and select the song it still won't play. I have updated, restored, everything I know and this is still happening. The warrenty is expired. What should I do

is there not an option to format it? a proper format though, not a "restore"

I had that happen on one particular song. I deleted it, reburned and saved it. Works fine now.

ey,
I had this problem. It would display the song - but then skip to the next. It only occured to my purchased songs off the iTunes Music store. HMMMM. In the settings menu isnt there an option to format? try that and then reset/update/upload.

The songs that it seems to skip or delete are both iTunes purchased and songs recently added, but I have been using iTunes for downloading music longer then I have had the iPod. That might be the issue though, if so I hope Apple fixes it. It hasn't happened in a while though.

Yeah delete the song from your iPod and put it back on. Happened with a lot of songs to me.
