3Com OfficeConnect ADSL Wireless Router - Owns

Post by Foo »

Purchased one of these yesterday as the sale price of £50 seemed very cheap for what it was. Since then I'm very impressed with it.

Compared to the old Alcatel Speedtouch 510 (v3.7) we had been using, net access in general feels faster, even though the MTU is the same. This one must be handling connections better or something.

Anyway, aside from a basic review, I also wanted to ask if anyone knew of a use for an old router, or anything about these old alcatels? The 3.7 seems to be uber rare.

WAP too plus a fairly decent firewall solution with SPI. I was looking at it before when it was properly priced and it was way out of my range.
