MKJ. HD shit

Post by Doombrain »

I've seen some sites saying it's best to buy a 9 pin VGA cable for the 360 and not use the cable that comes with the 360 for HD. I don't want to do this because i like to have the xpMCE on the d-sub.

What's the story? Is the cable that comes with the 360 OK for HD??

well since 80% of the hd users are using that cable im guessing its alright. the reason people might recommend the vga cable over the components might be because component could be more prone to oxygen erosion.

my beamer is being a bitch when it comes to component HD signals so while i have the 360's component hd cable, i cant comment on the quality.
i ordered the vga cable more than a week ago (since its pretty hard to find one in stores here) but it havent arrived yet :/

anyways, like i said, the majority of HD users use the component cable and i never heard anything about it being subpar unless someone fucked something up with their tv or cable.

like i mentioned in the other thread, HDready doesnt nessecarily mean it supports 720p+. it might also just have a HDMI input so you can connect your HD devices (even though the res will be downscaled). namsayn

That's a Samsung right? Those are good TV's, but if they're selling them for 300 quid you should be wary about their origins...
