Any band(s) similar to them? Something of similar genre, similar quality?

Unless that's an indication of your distaste with my taste in music.

Little explanation.

I don't listen to Disturbed for some deep musical appreciation. I listen to them almost solely so I can dampen my impulsivity when I work on math problems for multiple hour long unbroken stretchs.

You're almost done your degree right? You could take the course elsewhere afterwards part-time, if it strikes you as interesting.

Not what I'm looking for, but I'll give them a shot regardless.

If you're serious about it, then go for it. People who leave/finish college saying they'll come back are less likely to return as time passes. Unless of course, personal monetary obligations get in the way, then first things first if you can't reasonably put it off.

gl

ty for the music suggestions

lemme know what you think and we'll go from there :). Try In Flames too.

I've think got a job lined up for when I graduate, but I don't want to get stuck in it, they're more theatre based than i'd like - all be it street/outdoor theatre based. They're in a nice location though and should be able to pay me through more education. As long as I dont end up in a fucking call centre or in a suit i'll be grand. My brain needs to be active or I go a little funny.

In Flames seems to be my favourite of the bunch, Dark Tranquility second. Though I've not listened to all music from both bands.
