#56 SyncError about Different Marine and Strogg sounds:

They originally had multiple sound sets, but it was causing too much to be loaded into memory causing sluggish performance on clients. So they removed the strogg sound set and had them both use the marine sounds. This is also one of the reason why we don't see multiple models (with different sounds to go with them) like were present in Q3.

Afaik he only posts at ESR. We've got KungFuSquirrel and a few others posting here though. Btw, if anything, the critique SyncError gets at ESR is more harsh than here. On top of that, the majority of the players from the (small) competitive scene Q4 has/had post on ESR and not here.
