I usually like cheesy action movies but this has to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The acting and plot were painful to watch and the only reason that it even gets a 2 is that the T&A were decent. Don't waste your money or even your bandwidth on this one, IMO its not worth either.
Man, Ultraviolet was the best comedy of the year.

Silence of the Lambs: 10/10

Hands down one of the very best movies ever made. If you don't agree, you can fuck right off because you're wrong.

Trivia: Samuel L. Jackson only signed on for this film because the title was "Snakes on a Plane". When the film makers tried to change it to "Flight 121", Jackson was adamant to keep it "Snakes on a Plane".
i'm psyched to see what Taylor Kitsch will make of his challenging 'Deli Counter Guy' role

On board a flight over the Pacific Ocean, an assassin, bent on killing a passenger who's a witness in protective custody, lets loose a crate full of deadly snakes.
This better be a comedy, that's just ridiculous :olo:

2001 Maniacs

Cheesy remake. With the usual dose of boobs & brain matter, topped off with the legend that is Robert Englund.
Terrible film overall, but worth watching on a boring night

I lied.

Van Wilder - 7/10: Great movie, would even be higher if the last 20-30 mins weren't so cheesy.

Hustle and Flow - 2/10: Boring. Whenever MTV tries to do a movie that is supposed to "make you think" or "inspire" it just comes off as one cliched quote after another. In all the serious parts of the movie the dialogue seems like it comes from fortune cookies.

maybe the movie failed to make you think. but consider that it was made for the mtv generation, a term that's actually a synonym for 'illiterate morons'.

Hell, I didn't even give that movie the full 2 hours. I shut the TV off after 20 minutes.

You mean it sucks?

Well, I watched non-TV version on DVD just to steal some idea or inspiration about space station, patiently.
I admit you made the right decision.
However zombies and Alien-ish bio-creatures looked well done enough to be horrible.

haven't seen an action/horror film where all the main characters were women before, not that i can remember anyway.

just watched it with the missus and a mate of hers and they're still raving about it, talking about all the fight scenes and what they thought of the characters.

thought it lost the pace a bit after the turning point in the story and it could've done more with the location and not bothered with the few spots of cgi - but that's nitpicking. for what it achieved, it's an excellent film.
