Streetfighter isn't even making a dime these days which is why midway is looking to buy 60% of the SF division's stock. Streetfighter is fucking awesome but it needs to be modernized or else it will continue to gain the developers choice award for maintaining the status quo in mediocrity each year.
Devil may cry is shit. Well at least DMC2 made it that way. They have a lot of work to do if Capcom is going to make number 3 a good game. I think they might pull through though.
RE4 well...That is the best game I've played all year but the RE fan base hates it because it's not like the others. Just as many love the crap out of it. RE is not loosing any sales from this but it isn't gaining any either. Nintendo's advertising however, is helping a bit.
The point is that Midway WILL have SF; they will have the rest of Capcom if they fuck up. Bottom line: Capcom needs more games in order to make it huge on the business level. Recognition of Capcom will never go down.
