Hey julios, I think Gap is a great place to buy jeans if you have that shop where you are. I was 32 waist, went up to 34 waist, but this pair here is a 33 and fits me fine as well. They're flairs. I'm not too keen on bootcuts. They were priced at £35, went down to £20 and I got them for £9 as they were end of line. The last pair I had was from Gap too. Nice quality they have.

Look in Old Navy for "Mechanics" cut jeans. Trust me, they're exactly what you're looking for.

If you don't have access to them, just look for Wide Leg or Loose Fit cut jeans and try those out.

I'd be surprised if your legs wouldn't fit into any of those; and if they won't then probably your only option would be having a pair tailored.

you'll see a great difference once you switch back to lighter fabrics for whatever occasion. not to mention they tempt to shrink when washed the first time so be aware when you purchase them. The fibers also relax after a few days without washing, but they will shrink again after a wash and it is very noticeable. On the other hand, jeans cat take a good beating and they wont lose their composure unless they are cheap.
I'm fond of pants that can take a beating, but I'm not fond of the weight difference. I wonder if nano-pants are the best of both worlds.

Those are right around the corner. I've stopped buying jeans until they hit the market. -- it'd be a waste of money to buy normal jeans now.

i also have that problem - i wear either a 33x34 or 34x34. 99% of the time all I can find at the store is shit for people with a bigger waistline than pant length.

And I need to stop keeping my keys in my front pocket. All my jeans/slacks get a spot of worn out fabric there.

You think? There's an Old Navy in pretty much every single mall/outlet plaza here in Toronto. There's a big one in Yorkdale, 3 floors actually. Not to mention a bunch of other Jeans stores that you may want to check out.

And if you people think you have it bad, I have a really skinny wasteline, I wear size 28 to 30. I'm almost guaranteed to not be able to find my size, so whenever I do, I try to buy in bulk.

Anyway, you'll notice they don't seem to claim overall increased durability but a number of specific advantages are noted. Good old fashioned jeans may last longer, but I find the fabric too heavy is all, and the more bearable lighter jeans also seem less durable.

Jeans? Last pair I bought was a rip off pair of Levi's from a Turkish 2-dolla-dolla store off some nigerian dude. Fit me like a glove. If you're willing to travel to turkey for jeans that is.

I choose not to, I like the freedom and would wear shorts year round were it not for the shittier weather of other seasons.

The comfort, weight, and thickness of cotton with the durability of jeans and the stain, static, crease-resistance of nano-pants. An ideal yet to be realized.

What happens when you try pants that are "straight leg" cut?

Rubbish. Your boys'll figure their own ideal height on their own :icon14:

Anyways, tight pants and hot baths are known to screw with one's marksmanship.

Jeans rock, you can wear them with trainers, slip-ons, dress shoes, you name it. I've got 5 pairs, favourites are my tsubi's - most money i've ever paid for a pair of jeans with about 15 designer rips in them.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.

Try Kensington Market?

I have weird jeans needs myself in that I needs a 36 inch length with a 32 or 33 waist.

Someone told me to check out second hand places in Kensington Market, ended up getting a perfect pair of skinny Levis which you just wouldn't see in the Levis shop (well at least not the ones I've been in) cos its all standardised and stuff, all for 17.50 and there's no real wear or anything.

Can't rememebr the name of the place, they're all fairly similar in there just some have some attempt at organization.
