THIS WEDNESDAY
THIS WEDNESDAY
I got this in an email today.
************
On Wednesday of next week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.
That won't ever happen again.

It was a forward from someone I don't even know, but somehow ended up on a mailing list of theirs. Those ones with about 50 people that get a steady stream of everything from Nigerian scams to bits about how Microsoft is beta testing an email program to how some lady sued pepsi to how someone stole the chocolate chip cookie recipe from mrs.smith's cookies to whatever.....all those urban legends that are still floating around.Kracus wrote:lol, so who sent it?

Winner!
Was waiting for that one.

Its funny how people attach things to a sequence of numbers.DooMer wrote:THE DATE OF FOUR THREE TWO THOUSAND SIX WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. NEITHER WILL FOUR FOUR TWO THOUSAND SIX, OR FOUR FIVE TWO THOUSAND SIX. YESTERDAYS DATE WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I asked my students if the odds of the lottery coming out 1-2-3-4-5-6 was less than another sequence, they all said yes.
lol I've always chosen lottery numbers in sequence for that reason.tnf wrote:Its funny how people attach things to a sequence of numbers.DooMer wrote:THE DATE OF FOUR THREE TWO THOUSAND SIX WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. I wonder if that e-mail could have said that even though that day will never happen again it is also infinite...

Every moment is still in time so it's sort of infinite. So even though it will never happen again, if you get all metaphysical with that shit you might also say that the moment although unique is infinite. You fucking unoriginal bastard.R00k wrote:Jesus, WTF are you even trying to say right here?
