It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

It's really hard to get into the handheld space right now. Both the engage and the gizmondo have failed previously. The new microsoft portable thingy might fail too, who knows. This thing definately will. :o

its easier now though than it was before when nintendo had a total monopoly, the psp opened some holes up although not with developers as most thirs parties focus on the ds and for some reason wont give equal effort to two handhelds despite the fact the psp has outsold any other sony console (ps1 and 2) in 14 months its been out compared to their first 14 months. Its like no matter hwo good handhelds sell they will only devote to one and focus on consoles depsite xbox360's poor sales (in japan especially).

Is it REALLY so hard to make something like the DS lite, thats molded into the shape of your hands, has twin analog, enough buttons, and a screen that folds down...? I mean come on, spec wise you coudl easily fit the power of say an xbox or gamecube into something so small...

I'm really hoping that the new Game boy will indeed just be a Game Cube power, GCN pad in your hands, like those fake pics a while back. Add some media functions to that like MP3 and video playback, internet display, and memory card reading and hot damn you have yourself a winner. If it plays game cube games then fucking hell, good bye already shite life.

the ds light has twin analogs? thats news to me. although it has a screen that folds down it only has like 6 buttons thus if you use a computer style fps look youll only have 2 left after aiming and movement. The psp also has 6 buttons, and fits in your pocket, and has one larger screen than two not next to each other and you dont have to take out a stylus all the time and keep switching back and forth between standard controls and a stylus or blow into your handheld all the itme looking stupid (in some games).

Because it's competing with PSP, Nintendo DS, and Microsoft's new handheld. It stands such a little chance that the company will probably pull out before release in the states.

And the fact they have made 2 others that flopped horribly because they were buggy as hell

The PSP and Nintendo DS war is far from over. Just a week ago, Alaric S. blogged about the current status of PSP and DS in terms of units sold in Japan and in the US. There was no clear winner in that category and has obviously gotten all of you heated up. GameDaily.com has an interesting article that pits PSP against the Nintendo yet again, but this time looking into one of the most revered features of the handheld consoles, online capabilities.

The Nintendo DS seems to be doing something right with its free Wi-Fi Service that keeps gamers connected, making things more interactive. And with the release of Metroid Prime: Hunters and Tetris DS, the online link up has just gotten a big boost. Although the DS is on the right track, a few more features won't hurt. GameDaily suggested expanding the PictoChat to include features that work more on clans or a few customizations. It's just a small add-on that targets gamers who really like to hook up with other gamers, but in general it may not be all that neccesary. Another idea is to expand the game support setup by offering some kind of online download service, which will resurrect classic Nintendo games we love. This may actually see the light of day with its possible tie-in with the Revolution's Virtual Console service. If Nintendo wants to get a lot of online participation, it should offer tournaments and celebrity plays, and while they're at it, add more hot spots too.

Over at Sony, the PSP seems to have gotten the edge in gaming quality. Sony is also doing the right thing with the availability of PS One games for download on the PSP (later this year). This move just might pave the way for a full-on gaming network that will push for greater online play. GameDaily says: Sony's easily got the resources and finances to set themselves up a service along the likes of Xbox Live and Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection. Maybe the PlayStation Network is the answer, but so far, it seems to heavily support the PS3. What Sony should do here is provide some kind of push that allows for greater connection of online play across the board, without having to really deal with set-up issues or worrying about trying to find a buddy. Ease of service would really make this a smooth running machine, and a dedicated network would be the answer.

With both PSP and DS doing the right thing with what they currently have, it's what they need to improve on that will make this war even more interesting. The handheld that will bring online gaming to the next level will surely emerge as the winner.

Its called fun. Im sorry, but id much rather be blowing into a mic to play some kick ass wario ware, instead of making a "video call". If the PSP will even do that, it may be more sony tripe.
