WHy doe sthis have anything to do with long term memory? I think you're just bored easily. I remember thousands of song and don't get tired of them unless I listen to them repeatedly. Which I don't do. Or maybe you're just musically jaded.

naw, my short term memory is just as bad as phantasmagoria's. I listen to MP3 cds in my car, so each cd lasts about a week and i have around 14, so there is a couple months break between the times that i listen to the same cd, so i think its longterm.
