bullshit. The only steel that had to fail for the WTC towers to collapse was the steel trusses holding up each floor - which have already been shown (with video archive footage) to have been woefully neglected in terms of fireproofing. Due to the way the floors were constructed, the failure of one or two supports would result in the floor collapsing, with the weight of the collapsing debris falling on lower floors and causing more collapses on the way down.

oh and btw, the steel doesn't have to MELT for its structural integrity to be completely fucked - these trusses were fireproofed for a reason, and that reason was to prevent a fire degrading their load-bearing capacity. There are some shocking pictures out there showing areas in almost every part of the wtc towers where steel fireproofing was either not completed or allowed to degrade to the point of uselessness.

Just goes to show that it doesn't pay to skimp on your essential building maintenance.

That guy's making a LOT of assumptions. He points to one piece of hot metal at the edge of the building and all of a sudden there were well-concealed thermite charges everywhere. Granted, that's most likely not molten aluminum, but there are lots of other things it could be.
Thermite puts out a SHITLOAD of very white smoke, and it's not unreasonable to expect that if there were "10 or 20 incendiary packages" as the professor states that you'd see very large volumes of white smoke. Which of course there wasn't. Then there's the idea of the same number of charges remaining undiscovered for days or weeks, and OH YEAH, THEY MANAGED TO GET THE PLANE TO HIT THE SAME FUCKING FLOORS WHERE THEY WERE PLANTED.

On the issue of the molten metal found in the sub-basement: Are you seriously telling me that thermite charges melted all the structural steel (again, right where the planes hit and nowhere else) and then the slag puddle managed to stay molten AND fall all the way to the basement? Or is it that there were thermite charges in the basement that somehow managed to melt the structural steel, be seen burning at the corner of the 70 somethingth floor, and from the basement cause the uppermost floors to collapse?

Sorry, not fucking buying it.

while i'm sure that's true, it begs three questions: why did the central 'tower' of each building also collapse? why was the collapse not one-sided, since each plane did only hit on one side? finally, how does this theory explain the collapse of WTC7?

good lord.. they were 110 storey buildings... do you expect only one side of a building that high to collapse, or the outer material to fall away and leave the central columns? come on.

As for wtc7, everything i've seen on that is muddy. Videos showing what looks like cutter charges etc, people admitting it was a controlled demolition.
