Before this conversation becomes the inevitable - political, may I ask you what you do in the Air Force? I'm going to guess that you are a maintenance specialist, probably designated to fixing KC-135s. If not that, then most likely a clerk of some sort? I'll also guess that you're an Airman, or perhaps Airman basic still?

I'm betting that without Google, you haven't a clue what KC-135 is.

Its also Central Command. You'll prolly spend most of your time in Ybor City, drinking and puking.. :) I live in Tampa, and actually have an interview next week for an IT job at MacDill AFB.. I was in the Air Force for 4 years and didn't go anywhere but Barksdale AFB.. it sucked.

You'd have to be fucking crazy on acid to join the goddamn airforce at this point in time.

Actually, the Hair Farce wouldn't be bad right now, because of the jobs they do. The Marines or Army on the other hand...

I'm in the Army, with satellite communications. I'll be with JCSE (http://www.jfcom.mil/about/com_jcse.htm). My orders say I'm slated for airborne school and I can't wait to do that too. It's like a dream assignment :D

I'm betting that I grew up around them, and those and hercybirds are my favorite military planes.
