ECU remaps
ECU remaps
Anyone had one? I've got a revo remap at the moment, but friday I'm taking my car to http://www.jabbersport.co.uk for it to be mapped on a rolling road. Ten minute drive, and a four hour wait and I'll be done.
Finally going to get some figures back, should be about 325bhp if I'm lucky.:icon14:
Anyone else got one, or considering getting one? Best 500 quid I ever spent on a performance mod when I got my first remap, this ones a bit cheaper, but it's more customized to my specific vehicle.

Jabber are a good company.
They do wonders with G40 Polo's. Seen vids of G40's taking M3's upto 130mph easy and they have uprated chargers, 65mm pullys and a few other bits and bobs.
I cant get a revo for my car, but i can get a AMD remap, only about 10bhp tho due to me not having a turbo!
Tell us how it goes

You sure those figures are right? The jetta uses the 1.8t engine, 250hp is quite a lot. Torque seems a bit high, too. 210hp and 260ft lbs seems a bit closer to the mark imo.AmIdYfReAk wrote:i was considering getting one, but then i dident get the Mk4 Jetta that i was looking at..
600cdn for 250Hp and 280Ft.pds would have been money well spent.

I'd recommend against AMD, they used to run a really good service, but recently people have been saying they've gone to shit

Nice to see your figures!
Got a carbon filter on it with a cold air feed?

Ok, got back today, fucking amazing!
326bhp and 331ft lbs. Before it was done, it was put on the road and I got 290bhp. I only had normal fuel in, and I'm due a service next week, so he said the real figure was probably closer to 300+. It's a real professional operation once you're inside. They really take care of the car.
No, nothing like that on it Don, air filters and cold air feeds don't belong on audis. The filter and feed are sufficient at stock, and a lot of aftermarket ones clog up the MAF and give faulty readings. I've got too many mods to mention on my car, but most of them are chassis related. I've got new tie bars, coilovers, strut braces, anti roll bars, poly bushes, the list is endless. Going over a drain cover breaks your teeth!
