End Tasks box

You know this box that comes up when you press ctrl, alt, delete:-

Well most of the time I can then close it via a little square icon that appears on the taskbar. But every now and then I'll close a program, windows goes a bit funny for a second or two, and the icon disappears. So then I can't get rid of the end task box short of rebooting. All I can do is slide it right down below the taskbar and hide it, or press 'switch to' which minimises it to the task bar on the left. No biggie, was just wondering if there's still a way to completely close it?

dubble click on it, and you will have the normal view back

Good grief! I never knew those tab headers ( file, options, view, etc ) existed. As far as I remember, it always looked like in my screenshot. That was worth enquiring about, I learned something today.Thanks amidy, that worked.
