K and R strategies have more to do with exponential population growth, dumbass. It has to do with expenditure of energy and resources towards your offspring.....do you have a lot, and pay them little attention, hoping that some make it...do you have a few, put a lot of time and energy into each.

Wouldn't it also be about controlling who breeds? Like in a pack of wolves, only the alfa male and alfa female breed, they don't allow anyone else to breed. In the notes that our teacher gave us it states that humans are more like r-strategists.
