It's a great program. I recommend disabling the 'certify e-mail' function of the e-mail scanner though, if you don't want AVG to mark every mail you send with something like this:

"No virus found in this incoming message.
Checked by AVG Free Edition.
Version: 7.1.375 / Virus Database: 268.2.1/279 - Release Date: 3/10/2006"

axbaby has my vote as well. I've been using avg-free ever since someone
on here pointed me in the right direction.

There are a few more free anti-virus listed in the T&T links list ( Stickie ) also.

I've used clamwin before and it seemed pretty decent. In fact, I was thinking about using it again.

Antivir isn't bad. AVG's trojan handling capabilities are...lacking.

AVG Free all the way. Just update it everyday and you're set! I also suggest using it with Windows Firewall and Defender.

Trojans are extremely easy to avoid since they're always ready to jump out of porn sites
