there are others available that aren't Yahoo! stamped. i've used the default one since its inception with no issues. that's too bad it didn't work well for you. it's really the only widget i couldn't live without.

the latest widget engine version screwed up all the non-yahoo ones i got. shame really, since some of them were pretty good. shame there's still no decent RSS widget though

that sucks
you're right though, a
good multi-site RSS widget would be great. i'm really fond of netvibes.com though and the tab is always open.
