best demo playback
Which program is best for demo playback? I'm looking for something that enables me to play cpma demo's in different perspectives, mess with timescale etc easily.
Thanks. :lub:

You can't rewind, only fast forward, which if I remember correctly is...
/timescale (1=deafult, 2=2x speed, 4=4x speed, ect).
As for different perspectives, again if I remember it should be...
/cg_thirdperson
/cg_thirdPersonRange
/cg_thirdPersonAngle
And probably some others I'm forgetting. Somebody correct me where I'm wrong.

S-funny, I woulda thought someone would have come up with rewinding by now.
My (really limited) understanding of the Q3 demo system is that it's mostly the netcode information spooled into a file. And my (again really limited) knowledge of the netcode system is that every now and again the server transmits a full game update to the client... So a rewind system could work by rolling back to the last full keyframe.
