Jesus. Fucking. Christ.ToxicBug wrote:Dude, you're the one dodging points here. Do you see that big shiny box that is between the supercharger and the intake manifold? Does that look like an intercooler to you?
Just stop. You're making yourself look like an even bigger dumbass. I didn't think that was possible.

And answer my questions.
Nightshade wrote:Oh now wait a minute, DB thinking that a supercharger that looks exactly like a turbo means he knows nothing about cars, but you making a dumbass statement like "Notice the belt, morons?" about a gear-driven supercharger is just a simple mistake? I can't think that it's a turbo at first glance because it looks EXACTLY like every other turbo out there?

Oh gee, that looks nothing like an aftercooler.

By the way, why would you say that it's a turbo when I posted repeatedly that it's a supercharger? It looks like a turbo? Well no shit, a centrifugal supercharger looks like a turbo, you're an engineer, you've studied physics, so I guess you should know why.
The part behind the supercharger kinda looks like a belt, so since lots of superchargers are belt-driven, I figured it that was a belt. The pic isn't very big and it wasn't very clear.
However, you can CLEARLY see the aftercooler, its right beside the supercharger. Then, notice, it is connected directly to the throttle body.
