Seagate bought Maxtor

Post by Kills On Site »

This came as quite a shock to me. I thought Maxtor was bigger then Seagate. Click here.

Are they going merge now or will Seagate just take all the money?

I'm quite sad. I have always liked Maxtor drives and have only had one Seagate and it was very dissatisfactory. What I don't understand is that I thought Maxtor was a larger company then Seagate, maybe just in the OEM market. I hope they don't dissolve them.
