What sitcoms/series do you watch?

Post by Guest »

I pretty much watch these three sitcoms every day, because they play on FOX44 like twice each in one night (except for that 70's show, which is on once daily, and 2/3 times on Wednesday):

-Seinfeld
-Friends
-That 70's Show

As far as comedy series go, I might watch "Malcolm in the Middle" if there is absolutely nothing else to watch, but I don't really like it.

For all the other "serious" series, I really like "House", and it's the first 1 hour long cable tv series that I follow, ever. I just couldn't get into 24 and everything else is just dumb IMO.

As for the HBO/Showcase series, I used to watch "Dead Like Me", but it was cancelled after the second season :( Now I might get into "Carnivale" and the other ones that are playing on my movie channels :paranoid:

EDIT: Forgot about the cartoons :)

I really love "Family Guy", but I also watch "Futurama" and the new or very fresh episodes of "The Simpsons" on sundays, although they pretty much all suck now :( "American Dad" might be a new one on my favorites list, because I really liked the pilot episode :icon26:

EDIT2: Fuck it, simpler to make a list, that way we can quickly see what everyone likes. I watch:

Sitcoms (religiously):
-That 70's Show
-Seinfeld
-Friends

Comedy series:
-Malcolm in the Middle (occasionally)

Serious series (cable):
-House

HBO/Showcase:
-none for now, but used to watch Dead Like Me

Cartoons:
-Family Guy
-Futurama (occasionally)
-The Simpsons (only fresh/new episodes, occasionally)
-American Dad (seen the pilot episode and liked it, most likely will watch it)

About the only two things I ever watch are COPS and The Simpsons. I think TV sucks generally.

@TB:

Huh.
I'm going to try my best to make this not sound like an insult (because it's not; everyone has their own tastes), but I think I completely disagree with you on almost every count, and I despise all of those shows, with the exception of the Simpsons.

I almost never watch television, but if I do, the only chance that I'll keep watching is for the Simpsons, maybe Family Guy, and Scrubs. Occassionaly I'll tune into some PBS if it's something interesting. And, when it's airing, I try grabbing some Top Gear episodes online.

I find that if there is nothing to watch on TV, I get myself into watching sitcoms or series by forcing through one or two episodes, even if I don't find it interesting, and then I get "addicted" and really start liking it. I hate the Simpsons though, I've seen every single episode at least 20 times.

That's understandable. I used to watch the Simpsons like mad in college -- taping episodes and everything. But after school, I realized I really didn't care about the reruns any more...I was burnt out. So now I don't even try. I think the last time I watched it was two weeks ago when I was at my girlfriend's and we wanted to watch something while we ate. That was also the last time I saw Scrubs. I don't remember watching a single thing since then. :icon26:

Battlestar Galactica is the only show I've watched in quite a while, and even then I downloaded the season instead of being chained to the set.

when TV has nothing scheduled that i care about i just watch the history, discovery, or national geographic chanel.
but then again i'm also such a geek that rather than listen to the mindless crap on the radio i get books on CD from the library to listen to on my hour commute to school.

oh, and :
i used to really dig scrubs.. until i got sick of JD being such a complete child.
once you start to hate the main character its pretty hard to watch the show.

WWE Smackdown, House, British comedy, Hawaii Five-O reruns. Sports. Historical and archeaology shows on PBS. There's not much on, really. I spend most of my time on the internet.

Seinfeld, MASH.. Will & Grace occasionally.. and we just done watched all the Friends episodes (got the central perk box).
problem now is that MASH and Seinfeld air at the same time all of the sudden, so that sucks :(

I loved Seinfeld, but it doesn't run here any more. Other than that I think I only watch Scrubs and Simpsons. I like That 70's show but it runs too early in the evenings (when I'm still at work).

Oh, and the occational Family Guy.

I hate TV.

I used to watch Star Gate and King of Queens, though.
I also know every episode of Mash.

99% of sitcoms are as funny as a funeral wake.
Only retards watch the same jokes being performed each week.
