Did these terrorist and/or insurgents exist (and were they active?) in Iraq, in great numbers, before the war in Iraq?Synergy wrote:I believe that the formation of a government in Iraq was good first of all, and second Iraq harbors a lot of terrorists, so yes, helping the Iraqis will in the end, help the war on terror.
As I understand it, before the war, some Al Qaeda folks were in the relatively autonomous Kurdish north (ungoverned by Saddam).
Perhaps. It's unclear whether they'll be a major threat to the world, but it seems likely that some sort of Islamic government would take power (Shia ruled). If we pull out of Iraq before victory, insurgents will take over, Baghdad as the main goal...and become a major threat to the whole world.

I can't be calm when I know that people as ungodly dumb as you have the ability to reproduce. I've said it before, and it bears repeating: I'm stunned at how gleefully ignorant and willingly retarded you are.Synergy wrote:Whoa, dude, calm down, seriously. Wars cause debt and people die. YES, HE'S DOING A FUCKING STELLAR JOB. Eat shit and die, you fucking stupid Bushie meatpuppet.
Look at what happened after WW2. The economy flourished, job opportunities rose. We are in some tough shit right now, all I'm saying is Bush is making the best out of what he can do.
Whoa, man, I'm not a walking enncyclopedia, sorry, I cannot elaborate.Massive Quasars wrote:In Iraq? Could you elaborate?Synergy wrote:They have existed for many many years...
That's active enough, yes. What relationship did Iraq and/or the Saddam-led Iraqi government have with 9/11?Isn't 9/11 active enough? (terrorist-wise)
Seriously though, I'm not an expert. I feel like I'm being interrogated by you.
Those people you claim to be "ungodly dumb as me" are simply the other side, and that's all there is to it. I could say shit about what you believe in too, but I don't, because I respect the fact you believe in something. If you don't respect my opinions, fine, whatever.Nightshade wrote:I can't be calm when I know that people as ungodly dumb as you have the ability to reproduce. I apologize if I came off that way. I was just attempting to gain a better understanding of your position and the evidence that led you there.Seriously though, I'm not an expert. I feel like I'm being interrogated by you.

This isn't about sides, or respecting beliefs. You thinking that is simply further proof that you're utterly disconnected from anything remotely resembling reality. This is about frustration in dealing with fucking dolts like you that blindly ignore the truth, and refuse to even question anything that Bush and company do. You have shown again and again that you know NOTHING of what's actually going on in the world, and you continually spew Republican party line garbage. Are you fucking blind? Do you read, see, or hear anything other than Fox News? Wake the fuck up man.Synergy wrote:Those people you claim to be "ungodly dumb as me" are simply the other side, and that's all there is to it. I'm not blind, I know what's going on. I know all that stuff I laughed at before really was staged, and Rumsfeld doctrine was a horrible plan. I know Bush hasn't had the brightest ideas (and he's not the brightest crayon in the box either) I know all this now. But I still concur with the plan to not pull out of Iraq. I heard Bush's replies to the press recently on his plan to stay in Iraq. If we don't, the insurgents will retake what we gained, and the world terrorism threat will be at great risk. This is one thing I do believe.Nightshade wrote:This isn't about sides, or respecting beliefs. lol...the insurgency won the day we invaded u idiot...and no matter how long we stay or whatever we do we r already at a greater risk of terrorism...in otherwords moron...ur worse fear has already happened...thinking positive or putting a good face on it is not gonna change anything...just makes u sound like a bigger moron...got it? good...
a defining attribute of a government is that it has a monopoly on the legitimate exercise of violence...
his question was "in Iraq"Synergy wrote:They have existed for many many years...Massive Quasars wrote:Did these terrorist and/or insurgents exist (and were they active?) in Iraq, in great numbers, before the war in Iraq?

This kind of circular logic is at the core of the Bush camp's arguments. "There are terrorists in Iraq because we're fighting in Iraq so we have to stay and fight the terrorists."Synergy wrote:I'm not blind, I know what's going on. The Bush administration has done far more to increase the threat of terrorism across the globe than pretty much anyone or anything else. THAT is one thing I believe.
