Remember the first time you got drunk?
Remember the first time you got drunk?
Well, may be you don’t recall that day but.
I was 14YO, went to the tavern for the very first time with my co-worker who was 18YO.
Remember I saw my uncle passing right beside of our table, I didn’t want him to see me nor I was thinking he would have wanted me to see him. At the time, I thought being in a tavern was a very bad thing. Any way, I had a few beers, may be three at the most but it was my first time. Went to his place ( my co-worker) where he stayed with his mother. We ordered a pizza and after a slice, I threw it all off on the living room carpet. His mom didn’t say a thing and they just laid me down on the couch for a little nap.

Yep. I was 16 and was in some snooker/entertainment place with some friends, and drank a little too much around the pool tables. I also got into a fight with some chavs who lived near me as they tried to get a piece of my chinese takeaway. I'll never forget that look of disappointment in my mothers eye... priceless.
Anyway, that wasn't the first time I drank of course, but it was the first time I was drunk. It wasn't until I was 17 that I was sick from drinking for the first time... its also the last.
These days, I can drink quite a bit, but I very rarely get drunk. I don't really like the feeling of being out of control, unless i'm dancing. Social drinking without the stupid drunk element is the win. Getting wrecked and making a fool of yourself isn't.

i didn't get paralytic shitfaced until i was 19, drinking rum'n'coke from pint glasses. vommed all over the forecourt of the flats i was living in at the time, right outside the window of a transsexual guy who lived downstairs, then passed out with my first and only experience of alcohol-induced memory loss
I was 15, visiting my brother who went to UC Santa Cruz but lived off campus. It was my spring break, but they had already had theirs. He lived with 8 other people in a 3 story, old Victorian house (if you've been to Santa Cruz, it's pretty close to the boardwalk - the shitty part of town). It was one of his housemate's 20th birthday and they bought a shit load of alcohol, made a bar in the kitchen and one of the house mates acted as bar tender all night. A lot of people showed up since it was already an established party house - The Bixby House.
It was kind of intimidating at first, being 15 at a college house party, but either no one noticed or cared. Plus everyone there liked my brother, so it wasn't that big of a deal, especially after I had some drinks in me. I didn't do anything weird like puke (although I did do one of the heavy breathing sessions over the toilet) or pass out, just had a good time and remember being extra careful on steps. I just can't remember exactly what I drank, it was some vodka, sprite, and grenadine mix...the house mate kept making them for me.
Unfortunately, it kind of spoiled me and I didn't realize how good that party actually was. As it was my first party, I thought that's how most parties are. It wasn't until later high school parties that I found out people are cheap when it comes to alcohol, most of the time the house doesn't get packed and spill out into both yards, and there's usually never a 50/50 mix of guys and girls.

yeah, I didn't get completely fucked and have my first alcohol-induced memory loss until I was 17 from drinking straight 151. Although I've had a lot of black outs since.seremtan wrote:i didn't get paralytic shitfaced until i was 19, drinking rum'n'coke from pint glasses. vommed all over the forecourt of the flats i was living in at the time, right outside the window of a transsexual guy who lived downstairs, then passed out with my first and only experience of alcohol-induced memory loss
Not my first time but one of the “worrying” one. The next day of a full booze and smoking grass and mushrooms with a couple of friends…We had the work… I asked my friend where they finished their evening…-My friend; At the topless bar. –Me; How come you didn’t tell me, I would have had like to go too.-My friend; You drove us there. Real story.

heh yep, on my 22nd birthday i got myself right pissed, managed to quote spaceballs in it's entirety, have an argument over the merits of chrono trigger vs FF7, have someone try to get me to make a drunk dial only to have me not belive the lether case actually contained a phone. all and all a good time. or so they tell me.
The dream is dead.

good evening pete. how are you and your cat?
I remember recently you left your girlfriend. Have you patched things up?
I hope you are well. I remember when i was 9 we were the t-ball champions and we all got to drink beer. Noone drank enough to get drunk. I probably got tooled for the first time on passover as you have like 6 glasses of wine.

Yeah, at grandma's place for some holiday or other, middle school age. 15 relatives packed into the house. Everybody went to bed but me. I have no recollection why but I just decided to start drinking..... drank a beer or two, then drank an assload of my uncle's cheap scotch. It all tasted like shit at the time, but I remember laughing and rolling around on the kitchen floor for about 30 minutes. Watched some Little Rascals at 2 am or so, then crawled into bed with my ma. About 5 minutes after lying down, I get the spins...bad...rather than trying to make it to the bathroom I just turned over and barfed all down my mom's back. Good times.
