which was that there was no way australia could outplay brazil so they decided instead to stop brazil from playing - with extreme prejudice - leading to numerous free kicks

no seremtan, the number of free kicks awarded should be the same for each team, regardless of their respective actions on the pitch.

fucking hell, i knew sweden would equalise. i'd have put money on it. it's an iron rule of football: england-sweden games are always draws

also: the game sucked. we're going to have raise our game dramatically to get anywhere in this competition. apart from the midfield, we were rubbish. even rooney vanished in the 2nd half, mostly because that penis robinson kept hoofing the ball straight back to the swedish back four
