but it would be embarrassing for you to go out in the last 16 in your own world cup, so perhaps not eh
You haven't been watching England play lately, have you?
yes, i have. i've also been watching germany play too :olo:

edit: it's a moot point anyway. you can deal with the swedes

seremtan wrote:fucking hell, i knew sweden would equalise. i'd have put money on it. it's an iron rule of football: england-sweden games are always draws

also: the game sucked. we're going to have raise our game dramatically to get anywhere in this competition. apart from the midfield, we were rubbish. even rooney vanished in the 2nd half, mostly because that penis robinson kept hoofing the ball straight back to the swedish back four

looks like i'm upset :olo:
it's goalkeeper disease. They all do that shit.

I enjoyed the game and even told a Swedish mate they played well in the second half.

I'm just glad we don't have to play Germany next.

Splish is right, I would have loved to see England play against us. Damn Swedes. But, actually, I think this might become a good game.

lol, bitterness

In all fairness, Sweden played like shit in the first half, while England were great. In the second half though, the roles were reversed, and Sweden had a couple of really close calls.

That first goal though has to be the most beautiful yet this year.

you sound upset :olo:
so you're hoping that Germany can do something that England can't,
and have never been able to do

i wouldn't have minded a 2-2 draw against argentina or spain or someone who played attractive football. it's just tedious drawing with sweden every time we play and the games are never entertaining. i thought both teams were shit last night. joe cole's goal was the one bright spot

oh, and i actually dozed off in the 2nd half, and woke up wondering how gerrard got on the pitch :olo: it was that boring :olo:

it was the swedes playing for corners that got me. they were doing it all the way through the first half - at halftime, england should've picked up on that and done something about it (or have practiced a less scrappy response to corners in advance).

Ref killed the game for both sides with his blatant bias against offensive players
