Connecting Two MONITORS with a 7900 GT.

Post by Ganemi »

My 7900 GT has two monitor thingies coming out the rear, but I don't know how to get two working. I have an LCD and a CRT plugged into both slots, but only the CRT is working. Is there something I'm missing? : [

Yes, the card comes with a special port attachment that you have to connect to the second slot.

Once they're both plugged in and powered on, right click on your desktop and go to properties, then settings. 2 Monitors should show up there.

if not, try rebooting.

If you still only have one showing up, grab the latest drivers and double check your connections.

The following link will show you how to use some of the driver features (such as Dualview):

download them .. once done double click on the file .. it's very simple to install drivers now.

in the last few years i haven't bothered un-installing old drivers first .
