oh man. fuck you. I'm going to go blind. I can never see them on paper now I'm going to stare into my bright monitor and still not see anything.

It'd be kind of cool to have one that didn't actually show anything. That way you could easily weed out the assholes that come into your office and claim they see "it." "It" being whatever you tell them is there.

Oh yeah, I totally see that fetus wearing a WWII Nazi helmet being blown up by Donald Duck.

i used to hate those things. then one day they just popped and i see them no problem. i got bored with them after a while. :icon26:

I figured out a good way to do those - it's the same way I used to win staring competitions when I was a kid - just let your eyes relax and lose focus, and look "through" the other person. You're supposed to slightly diverge your eyes when you're looking at a Magic Eye picture, and this technique works a treat.

You are just using muscles in your eyes you don't normally use.

Try this, look at your monitor, but focus like you are looking at something a couple feet behind it.

Put a mirror next to it and then focus on your image in the mirror.

thats the right idea... i could never see them until i saw one under glass on a wall.
you look at your reflection in the glass and *poof* the 3d image appears behind it.

You can go either way converge or diverge. It's easier for me to diverge. I can usually see them pretty instantly.
