YourGrandpa wrote:I'm thankful that I didn't waste my late teens and twenties chatting with strangers on a message board. That's why it's so shocking to see this many young people here throwing away their time in cyber space. When I was that age, I was constantly out doing something. I was putting custom audio systems in my cars, going out to clubs dancing with chicks, going to the beach with the jet ski, playing beach volleyball and the list goes on.... I got involved with this after I got married. When you're suppose to alter your lifestyle a bit.

Maybe this is why the world is becoming overrun with fat, pale dorks..... I would like to encourage the youth of these forums to turn off their PC's and go outside. Because if you're spending time chatting on a UBB, you're wasting some of the best parts of your life.
just think, the time you spent typing this could have been spent jetskiing, picking up chicks in clubs and playing beach volleyball

for shame :(

I exaggerated a bit. Gave up after three, because I didn't care about the rejection much, since It was my first time asking a girl out (besides, we were going out in a group of people we both knew, so whatever). Last year, since we shared the same group of friends we had lunch together for...40 minutes x 9 months? In that time I learned a ton about her that made me think "why the hell can't she and I hang out together, or at the very least talk anymore?" which is basically what I had asked her a number of times. Hm. Never got an answer, making me believe that it was just a really great opportunity that we both missed out on for no good reason. : [

Attraction has to work two ways. She may have thought you looked like a yak or something.

Nah. I'm pretty handsome, I think, unless I'm grinning stupidly. But regardless, I only thought she was pretty cool person(just a person, not a girl) and she wasn't particularly attractive until the year progressed, and more of her personality and mannerisms made themselves evident. Unfortunately, she never got to know me or give me a chance. If she had, it would've been something, which we both now know for sure but she chooses to forget it or ignore.

*shrugs* One of the few waisted opportunities of my youthful years, I guess. : \

I'm not going out and picking up chicks, because I'm married and love my wife. I've had my youthful fun and it wasn't spent in the virtual world. I'm 36, not 21. What kind of loser between the age of 18 and 25 (not married) is sitting home on the internet on a Saturday night? Hell, anyone who's single shouldn't be home tonight, unless they have to work "early" Sunday morning.

It's still wasting time. But at least I'm not wasting my youth.

You make it sound like life is over once a person has responsibilities and, although it might be true for you, it definitely isn't for everyone else. What I find funniest is that you constantly post like you're something other than a very average guy living in living in an average suburb with an average family and an average life.

You assume too much. If you're so sure be more aggresive and go get what you deserve, a bitchslap. If we're wrong, well have fun with your relationship but don't keep going on about 'if this', 'if that', or 'I'm sure'. You're only digging a deeper grave.

You're probably right, which is why I try to forget about it, though I'm having difficult with that whole part. Meh.

Look at all the pissy nerds.. Go ahead, have your cry. You all deserve it, seeing how you've flushed your youth down the inter-toilet. But you really shouldn't aim your frustrations in my direction simply because I pointed it out. Look in the mirror, that's the person responsible for making you a social outcast, not me.

To touch breifly on a few of your misconceived notions (obviously derived from your lack of socoal involvement).

1. I don't think I'm better than everyone. That's impossible. However I am proud of the life I've created for myself.

2. I'm not bitter. Again, that's impossible. I had a great youth with an even greater life that followed. I'm very happy with where I am personally and professionally.

3. I don't believe my life is over, or even close to being over. In fact, it's getting better all the time.

Quit thinking your so much better then everyone else on this forum, Because your not. Your a fat cunt whos married to a fat whore. lol so proud of that :olo:
How am I full of myself here? Someone is challenging my comments and I'm responding.(That's how a message board works.) It's not my fault that my reality pisses you off, nerd. If you think the posts I've made about myself make me sound better than you or anyone else, that's on you. What I post is real, not fake. I don't have to try and impress anyone here. You all are nobody to me and you don't matter. At the very most, this place is a source of entertain to me. There's no reason for me to be anything less than 100% honest, unilke you. Do you think calling me fat and my wife a fat whore is going to hurt my feelings? :olo: Those, just like most of your existance are lies.

Get a life, Boner. :olo:

Wow, I'm devastated. I've been threatened by a 16 year old and his shit. Potty training should be one of your next conquests.
