Figo should be off for the England game for headbutting but because the ref gave him a yellow (he didn't even see it) they don't think Fifa can punish him
i'm glad it's portugal rather than holland. holland always seemed more solid and harder work for england than portugal who, for all their flair, can be a bit flaky at times
i'll laugh my arse off if we beat them because frankly on current form i just don't see it

i just hope the ref doesn't get too much schtick. he was just doing what FIFA told him to do. blatter wasn't pleased with the reffing and that he deserves a yellow card. the thing is though, this game is FIFA's fault. they were the ones that said before the WC began that they're going to have refs bring out a ton of yellow cards, etc. etc.
the best reffing in the WC has been where refs have done what FIFA told them not to do. the french ref in the brazil-japan game was good, he wasn't crazy with the cards. same thing with the swiss ref in the other day's game.
