you missed my point, which was that 'wasting time' has been conveniently redefined to include being on the internet while excluding all the things that used to make up 'wasting time', like watching TV and generally just bumming around. also, as your post makes clear, what counts as wasting time is pretty subjective, which is also kind of my point
