NBA Draft predictions

Post by tnf »

So...the few of you who care...what do you think?

Brandon Roy will be in the top - edit - I think he could go lower than top 3...I could see him anywhere from 2 through 8.

Morrison top 6.

Lamarcus Aldridge top 3.

That guy from Italy top 4.

Sheldon Williams - not as impressed with him as everyone else seems to be, I say he's a 8-9 pick.

Rudy Gay...mixed bag. Like a lot of people say, he sometimes seems to be on autopilot and lacking a killer instinct...but other times he's insanely good. Top 10, but hard to say where...

I'll have to think more about the others....I hope Portland takes Morrison so we can get some local talent in a northwest team...even though I am not a big fan of Morrison as a person.

No, its not a hypersensitive fag, anymore than the hypersensitve faggotry that complains in A&M about freak or drum or dorka, its just that I didn't want this thread to devolve into people's opinions of basketball and why they hate it or why they hate sports. And posts like that generally end up doing just that.

this draft sucks, nothing special

Chicago looks like a team to look out for. They get 2 first round picks, have free cap space, and some good young guys, especially Hinrich who's will be a premier point guard soon. Miami and Detroit are going to get degress as both will take cap casualties and have aging players and Chicago can only improve in the next 2-3 years after already taking Miami to 6 games this playoffs.

eye, 2 first round picks will be a big help. But as for overall talent, I agree with you. Nobody stands out in this draft as being some sort of franchise player - lots of role players.

As a Bulls fan, I am excited about this draft. I see the Bulls trading their #16 pick for an experienced big man.

From what I heard they were interested in Nazr Mohammed, although I'm sure it's just speculation.

hard to find someone in this draft worth trading for an experienced big man. and chicago's gm has proven to have questionable decision making skills. i'm looking for them to draft all gaurds and small forwards again. if williams is still available i think they'll take him - he's under 7', but he can rebound and block shots and that's what they need.... and they always draft duke players (brand, j williams, duhon, deng).

Prediction
Teams, will draft black players
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

and the fucking Sonics, I swear if I ever see Wally Walker in person I am going to kick him in the fucking nutts. twice.
We already have two centers that we are developing, now we get some joker who can barly make a layup scoring all of 3.1pts a game in europe.
