Chilli sauce a few times while a bit drunk, it passes quickly thankfully. It doesn't pass so quickly the next day though :(

All I've had are flies and eye-lashes I think, though I've had things like disinfectant splash at me before, only with my eye-lid's reflexes saving the day.

I put an LSD tab behind my eyelid once for 15 mins. That hurt, then I was the walrus.

Scuba mask defogger. I put some in my mask and apparently didn't rinse it out well enough afterward.

I managed to stay underwater for the whole 30-40 minute dive, but by the end of it my eye was burning like fire.

I got in the boat and couldn't close or open my eye. I had to just hold the lid away from my eyeball.

Went to the hospital, they said I had conjunctivitis from the stuff (wasn't the first case they'd had either), and gave me some steroid eye-drops which cleared it right up.

Lesson: hypo-allergenic still doesn't mean "safe to be near eyes."

I thought it was strange though, because the stuff is made to put on the inside of goggles. Oh well, whattyagonnado...

7 years old, was looking into a coffee can my cousin was about to fill with gas from our pump, gas went into can with such force to splash it directly into my face and eyes.

8 years old, at a smash up derby I got hit with a huge ball of mud directly into an open eye.

12 years old, pissed at my mom, I threw a cresent wrench at a can of spray paint. The pisser is, I missed the first time and picked it up and scored a direct hit next try. The can exploded covering my front side with silver paint, including my eyeballs.

in high school we had a slip n' slide, (we used a really really long piece of black plastic) for the homecoming celebration, and they used dishsoap and water to lube it up... i was the first one to go and they didn't tell me what they lubed it up with and they didn't show me the bucket with the goggles. it was bad news. i had my eyes in water for like 3 hours afterwards.

I also had a pan on the stove with cooking grease on it, and it got too hot, little droplets of grease were splashing about and one hit the corner of my right eye...lucky it wasn't in the middle, or i'd probably have some blindness...

It's grey and if you get it in your eye, you're dead.

A train.

I once saw a chief cook making some Mexican salsa and he was wearing gloves while cutting the hot peppers, my mother did the recipe without gloves and touched her eye, she was almost for a week in pain.
My brother saw a few nails while rebuilding our old bridge at our country’s houses with a grinder and received some hot metal splitters in one of his eye, had to go to surgery, he’s fine now but could have been have been really bad.
As for myself. While redoing a ceiling with those kind of cardboard insulating tiles, some scrap of it fell in my eye, I was for a few days with my eye soaring, itching and I kept sneezing all the time, as if I had an allergy. I put on my eyes some special ointment
and the next morning it was gone.
