I saved my .pst files such as archive.pst and outlook.pst as I did a reinstall. After I reinstalled Office and opened Outlook, I imported these 2 files into Outlook.
The problem is that I have 2 of everything. Two calendars etc. I used the option to have calendar show when I open Outlook, but it is the new calendar with nothing in it. I obviouisly want the old one to display when I first open Outllook. Same with Notes.
I cant seem to figure this out so if anyone here is a master of Outllook and can shed some light, I would appreciate it very much

Well you could have simply replaced the original .pst files.
You can open outlook and goto tools/options.
Then mail setup and then data files.
Then you can click on open folder and paste your .pst file over the old one.
You may want to temporarily copy the old first to somewhere (just in case).
If I was you, I'd just re-install outlook and then simply copy/paste your backed up .pst folder.

I did try that but it didnt seem to work. When I first opened Outlook after the install of Office, I went into this location....
C\docs&setting\username\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook.
Then I copied my archive.pst and outlook.pst into this location. When I opened Outlook after this there didnt seem to be anything in it, so I did the file, import thing.
