Closed on the house today
Even though we moved in over a week ago, today was the final closing day. I agree with what rook posted awhile back, this wasn't too difficult of a process, save for finding a decent house with a price that wasn't inflated due to the fucking insane market over the last few years. Things have slowed down a bit, its becoming a buyer's market again luckily.
Nice neighborhood (we have a nunnery/convent/whateverthefuck it is) across the street and quiet neighbors who all take care of their places. Two car garage with lots of room for a shop. My first project will be to finish the basement and knock a couple walls out to make a big rec room down there.
I bought this house from my brother, which was a bonus because I got a great deal on it and already have about 20 thousand in equity in the place.
With the pain in the ass that moving was, I may stay here until I'm 100.

You just can't resist, can you?YourGrandpa wrote:GJ on the house.
May you soon start to enjoy the incredible work load that comes with being home owner and also reap the rewards.
We built our place at the begining of the housing boom in this area. We've been here for 7 years and now have about $250,000.00 in equity.
I hope your luck is the same.

Your horn only blows one note and you know it - the "hey everybody please come hang out with me because I bought a bunch of expensive toys" note.YourGrandpa wrote:Quit being such a hypocrtical cunt and get off my ass. Who says I don't give DoomBrain shit? Just because I don't post a bunch of insults directed towards him doesn't mean I don't think he likes to show off. He's rather mild about it, especially compared to the likes of YOU.YourGrandpa wrote:Quit being such a hypocrtical cunt and get off my ass.
