...first one in 10 years. I shot a 117 on a par 65 course. Jellus?
I quickly learned that the only club in my bag I could consistently hit in the air and still get some distance was my 6 iron, so it was 6 iron + putter combination just about all 18 holes :icon31:. Golf's pretty tough. It would usually take me about 3-5 to reach the green, but my putting wasn't bad - I could usually two put, I put 4 or 5 holes away in one. What killed me (apart from hitting 130 yards max) was water and sand traps. They were some deep traps so everytime I got in one, it took me like 5 strokes to get out cause I kept hitting the lip and it'd roll back down to my feet. And when I'd finally get it out of the bunker, it'd be way too hard of a hit from being worried about getting over the lip and I'd be in the rough on the other side of the green.
I don't think I'll be playing again for awhile. On the plus side, we had good weather today and the course was pretty beautiful, got to spend some time with my dad and younger brother.
